Scottish Tourism Week

Scottish Tourism Forum (STF) was delighted to once again work with the ScotHot team in 2011. The seminar theatre STF ran a series of seminars and demonstrations, with speakers from the hospitality and tourism sector including life in the industry talks by Peter Taylor from the Townhouse Collection and Stephen Carter OBE from Cameron House.

ScotHot marked the start of Scottish Tourism Week and was officially opened by Jim Mather MSP, who said during his opening speech:

“Scotland’s Hospitality Industry employs over 215,000 people and generates £4 billion for the Scottish economy.  Events such as ScotHot are vital for driving growth through collaboration, encouraging young people to get involved in the sector and championing an authentic Scottish product.”
