    Over 3,500 Scots use New Local Directory to Shop for Scottish Food & Drink

    A new online directory created by Food & Drink Scotland, has become a one-stop-shop for Scotlands food-lovers to purchase local food and drink produce. With nearly 300 local suppliers on the directory and over 3,500 users, the platfrom has successfully connected consumers and suppliers online, providing users with a new opportunity to shop local and support Scottish businesses.

    Glasgow Cocktail Collective to Deliver Cocktails to Households During Lockdown

    The Glasgow Cocktail Collective (GCC) a new online delivery service founded by Fraser McIllwraith, enables bars across the city to sell their two most popular cocktails direct to households who are seeking their favourite cocktails to enjoy at home. The aim of the service is to keep Glasgow's cocktail culture alive during lockdown and provide an income stream for Glasgow's bars.

    Hospitality Group G1 Feeds 10,000 People With Their 'Grab & Go' & Hot Food Kitchen

    The Glasgow based hospitality group behind hotels including The Scotsman Hotel and The Grassmarket Hotel, have fed 10,000 people in need as part of their 4 week initiative to support charities, health care and key workers during the pandemic. With help from local food suppliers they created a high volume food kitchen at their city centre venue The Social.

    Eden Mill Show Support to NHS & Key Workers

    The Scottish Brewer & Distiller Eden Mill are showing their support to NHS and key workers by donating hand sanitiser to charities and hospices across Scotland. Eden Mill are also donating funds from the limited edition blue bottles of their Original Gin to support healthcare workers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.  They will donate £2 from each bottle sold to a different NHS charity each month.
