FareShare

FareShare is the UK’s largest food and drink redistribution charity, with 32 depots across the country giving it national reach with a hyperlocal focus. It takes an environmental problem, food waste, and turns it into a social solution. FareShare works in partnership with food and drink businesses to give their good-to-eat surplus to their network of almost 9,500 frontline charities and community groups.

This vital food and drink provides a hand up, not a hand out, to vulnerable people being supported by schemes and organisations such as homeless hostels, school breakfast clubs, domestic violence refuges, older people’s lunch clubs, food banks and hospices. These groups turn surplus products from the food industry into nutritious meals and food parcels.
